    GSEB SSC Result 2023: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) today declared the SSC board exam results 2023. Students can check their results at the official website — gseb.org by logging in using their login credentials. This year, 64.62 per cent students passed which is a marginal decline from 65.18 per cent in 2022.

    Surat district tops with 76.45% and Dahod the lowest result of 40.75%. Girls outshine boys with 70.62%. Boys pass percentage at 59.58%. Among subjects, English first language subject recorded highest pass percentage of 95.06 while science lowest result of 67.72.

    Schools with less than 30 per cent results increased from 1007 in 2022 to 1084 this year. Schools with 100% results decline from 292 in 2022 to 272 this year.

    This year, apart from the 9.56 lakh regular students, 101 prison inmates also registered for the SSC exams which were conducted from March 14 to March 28.

    Step 1: Visit the official websites – gseb.org. 

    Step 2: Click on the SSC result link in the

    Step 3: Enter your login details like registration number or roll number, name and date of birth.

    Step 4: The result will appear on the screen.

    Step 5: Save and download the result for future reference.

    The SSC or Class 10 exams last year started on March 28 and ended on April 9. The results were released on June 6. Out of the 7,81,702 students, about 7.72 lakh took the SSC exams. All of the Covid-19 protocols were followed while the examinations were conducted offline. 5,03,726 students passed the exams.

    In 2021, due to the cancellation of the exams due to Covid – 19, the state had recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage.

    CAT 2023 Response sheet: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has published the response sheet of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can log in to the website iimcat.ac.in and download it.

    “Objection form and Response sheet for CAT 2023 appeared candidates is live from 05th Dec 2023 (11:00 A.M.) till 08th Dec 2023 (05:00 P.M)” reads the official website.

    The entrance test took place on November 26 in three slots. There were 66 questions in the exam, of which 24 were from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), 20 were on Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and 22 were on Quantitative Ability (QA).

    A total of 3.28 lakh candidates were registered for CAT 2023 and 2.88 lakh or 88 per cent of them appeared.

    The duration of the test was 120 minutes (160 minutes for PWD candidates).

    IIM Lucknow has also invited feedback from candidates. Those who want to raise objections to the preliminary answer key can do it till December 8.

    Candidates’ objections will be reviewed by a panel of experts and if found valid, revised answers will be published on the final key.

    After that, the results of the entrance examination will be announced. Candidates who qualify in CAT 2023 can then apply for admission to their preferred B-schools.

    The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) rank list 2023 today. Registered candidates can check and download the rank list at the official website tneaonline.org.

    Candidates have to log in to the portal using their registered email addresses and password to access TNEA rank list. The Board has also published all eligible students’ rank as PDF file on its website under the Rank details section.

    TNEA 2023 is held for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (B.Tech courses) in the institutes of Tamil Nadu. The allotment of BTech seats to the candidates will be done after the successful completion of TNEA registration and counselling.

    Steps to check TNEA Rank List 2023

    1. Visit official website tneaonline.org
    2. Go to Login tab and enter registered email addresses and password
    3. The TNEA rank list will appear on screen
    4. Download and check status
    5. Take a print out for future reference

    Candidates shortlisted in the TNEA rank list are eligible to apply for online counselling. TNEA will conduct first the counselling for special categories and then the general counselling will be conducted.

    The general counselling steps include online counselling for academic and vocational courses, an initial deposit of the registration fee, choice filling, tentative allotment, confirmation of tentative allotment and provisional allotment.

    The tentative allotment list will be released after the rank list. Students will have to confirm the allotment option of the final institution. However, branch allotment will be decided by the TNEA authorities. Students will be required to report to the final allotted Institutions.
