Following a final safety review by the Federal Transport Authority, Etihad Rail began operating in January 2016.

More than 30 million tonnes of granulated sulphur have been transported by Etihad Rail for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company without a single lost-time incident or injury (ADNOC).

A similar reduction in carbon dioxide emissions can be achieved by using trains to transport the same amount of goods rather than a vehicle, as contrasted to the usage of trucks for the same amount of cargo in a vehicle.

Abu Dhabi-Dubai Etihad Rail takes 50 minutes.
Abu Dhabi to Dubai in 50 minutes, and Abu Dhabi to Fujairah in 100 minutes, will be possible for passengers to take advantage of this new service

There is a forecast of 36.5 million travelers a year by 2030, according to the latest projections.

    Abu Dhabi-Dubai Etihad Rail

The project’s Dh50bn ($13.6bn) budget is approximately to generate Dh200bn in economic output.

A 605-kilometer second stage will connect Ghuweifat, on the Saudi Arabian border, with Fujairah, on the UAE’s east coast, with other routes to follow.

By connecting the Emirates via Abu Dhabi, KIZAD, Khalifa Port, Jebel Ali, Jebel Ali Port, and Dubai, Sharjah, Ras al-Khaimah, and Fujairah on the East Coast,

As a result, it will effectively bring together the country’s major industrial ports and commerce centers.

In the second stage, we’ll talk about Package D, which continues Stage Two Package C to the Port of Fujairah from the Dubai/Sharjah Border, which will traverse 132 kilometers in total.

In the UAE, the Rail Passenger System will connect to a light rail system, easing travel between cities.

Travel planning will be easier with smart apps that integrate logistics, port, and customs services.

Dubai Airport to be peak time; Passengers are advised to follow these instructions

Dubai: As the holiday season draws to a close, the Dubai International Airport (DXB) is likely to experience heavy traffic. According to airport officials, 3.3 million passengers will pass through Dubai International Airport in the next 13 days.

“The average daily traffic will reach 258,000 visitors. August 26 and 27 is expected to be the busiest time with over half a million guests arriving.” said in a statement issued on Wednesday. Passengers should follow special instructions to ensure a hassle-free journey.

Upon arrival at Terminals 1, 2 and 3, passengers between the ages of 4 and 12 can use the special passport control counters to stamp their passports independently. For those traveling with families, passengers above the age of 12 can use the smart gates to speed up the passport control process. At the smart gates, registered passengers can clear passport control by looking for a green light without the need to scan a document, according to Dubai Airports’ website.

Those arriving to pick up guests from the airport should use designated car parks or valet services. Access to the arrival forecourts at Terminals 1 and 3 is restricted to public transport and other authorized airport vehicles, officials said.
