Road Crossing Rules Violation: Violators caught in UAE; Watch the video

New radars based on artificial intelligence have been installed in the UAE. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has installed new radars on various roads in Abu Dhabi to monitor and catch motorists who do not stop at road crossings.

Abu Dhabi police shared the video on various social media platforms. Abu Dhabi Police said in a video that they have activated a smart radar system to control violations by drivers and pedestrians in Abu Dhabi.

Police said the smart system, dubbed ‘Hather’ (B Careful), alerts drivers to comply with traffic rules and gives priority to pedestrians in designated areas for safety. After a successful pilot phase, the new smart system will be installed near schools and commercial centers in Abu Dhabi, officials said.

The new radars initially detected a number of traffic violations. Motorists will be fined 500 dirhams and fined six black points for not giving way to pedestrians.
