Kinder Surprise Chocolate Egg recalled from UAE Kinder Surprise chocolate egg maker Ferro has recalled following reports of salmonella bacteria. The company’s action follows the report of salmonella bacteria in a factory that produces chocolate eggs. The Ministry of Public Health has warned people not to eat Kinder Surprise Chocolate Eggs.

The Ministry of Public Health has taken precautionary measures to ensure that the product is not available in shops or markets on the specified dates, and the Ministry of Public Health has directed suppliers to withdraw the questionable product from the market. The Ministry has directed its inspectors to take random samples of the product irrespective of the country of origin or expiration date and refer it for laboratory analysis as an additional precaution.

Ports have been directed to withdraw samples from future shipments and analyze them to verify their safety, validity and relevance requirements.
However, the company assured that no product in the UAE or the Gulf region (uae and gulf region) has been confirmed positive for salmonella.
