It is a 1200 km and $11bn rail network project by Etihad Rail which will continue as 3 phases where the first phase commenced on January 2016, second phase will be operational by 2024. This will be both freight and passenger train.

• Travel time from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah: 1 hour 40 minutes
