What is a Hayya Card (Fan ID)?

VALIDITY OF HAYYA CARD
The Qatar Hayya Card is a Fan ID issued by the government of Qatar for those attending the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This document replaces an entry visa but is only valid for the duration of the tournament.

DO CHILDREN NEED THE HAYYA CARD TO ENTER QATAR AND ATTEND MATCHES?
Yes, children and minors also need a Hayya Card to enter the country and attend matches. Each Hayya Card applicant can add up to two dependents (children under 18) to their application. Parents or legal guardians must submit the Hayya Card application for their children.
Qatar COVID-19 entry procedures during the FIFA World Cup 2022
While the Hayya Card will replace any visas for Qatar during the event, you should be aware of any other entry requirements that may apply.
FILL OUT THE QATAR EHTERAZ ENTRY REGISTRATION FORM
To enter Qatar, you must submit the Qatar Entry Registration form, also known as the Ehteraz Pre-Entry Registration Form. It’s part of the Qatar COVID-19 health measures to monitor the spread of the coronavirus. Additionally, you’ll have to download the Ehteraz mobile application using an international SIM card as soon as you enter Qatar.
Fans wishing to enter Qatar during the FIFA World Cup can, just like the Hayya Card, fill out the registration on iVisa in just a few minutes. It requires personal information, health status, and uploading a negative COVID-19 test result (if applicable).

COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS IN QATAR
You are not required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter Qatar during the FIFA World Cup 2022.
COVID-19 QUARANTINE AND TESTING REQUIREMENTS IN QATAR
Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health has removed the red list and quarantine rules for arrivals ahead of the FIFA World Cup event from September 4, 2022. Travelers arriving from abroad are not expected to quarantine.
However, any foreign national traveling to Qatar, for any reason, must provide a negative PCR test result within 48 hours of departure. Qatar’s residents and citizens are exempt. However, all travelers, including citizens and residents must still do a rapid antigen test result within 24 hours of arrival in Qatar, regardless of their vaccination status.
