Onam, the Festival of Rain Flowers is forthcoming. Equity Plus Advertising, in association with HIT 96.7 FM, is organizing the grandest onam event of the year in the UAE on September 10th and 11th. Get ready to celebrate the Onamamangam2022 with traditional Onasadhya, live music concert, dance performance and engaging competitions
Participate in Thiruvathirakali, Oppana, Pookkalam (Floral Carpet), Vadamvali (Tug of War), Kids painting competition, Payasam competition, Cinematic Dance, Malayali Manka and Mr.Malayali organized on September 10th at Safari Mall, Sharjah and win huge cash prizes other exciting gifts.
On the second day of Onamamangam, 3000 individuals will be served the customary vegetarian multi-course Onam feast called Onasadhya as well as be a part of the Pulikkali and Chendamelam celebrations.
The significant event of the day is a live music concert by music director and performer Gopi Sundar and renowned Indian vocalists Amrita Suresh, Abhirami Suresh, and Jassim Jamal as part of the Gopi Sundar Live Ensemble Music Band’s World Tour. Dilsha Prasannan, the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 winner will be performing for the first time in UAE this Onam. The second day of the event will be hosted at Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai on September 11th.
First-day admittance of Onamamangam is free and the second-day entry requires a ticket which is available from August22nd on www.q-tickets.com/uae.

Dubai: As the holiday season draws to a close, the Dubai International Airport (DXB) is likely to experience heavy traffic. According to airport officials, 3.3 million passengers will pass through Dubai International Airport in the next 13 days.
“The average daily traffic will reach 258,000 visitors. August 26 and 27 is expected to be the busiest time with over half a million guests arriving.” said in a statement issued on Wednesday. Passengers should follow special instructions to ensure a hassle-free journey.
Upon arrival at Terminals 1, 2 and 3, passengers between the ages of 4 and 12 can use the special passport control counters to stamp their passports independently. For those traveling with families, passengers above the age of 12 can use the smart gates to speed up the passport control process. At the smart gates, registered passengers can clear passport control by looking for a green light without the need to scan a document, according to Dubai Airports’ website.
Those arriving to pick up guests from the airport should use designated car parks or valet services. Access to the arrival forecourts at Terminals 1 and 3 is restricted to public transport and other authorized airport vehicles, officials said.
